I believe that therapy needs both grace and truth and that requires a real relationship.
I’m not a blank slate therapist. I believe therapy works best when there is a genuine human connection, honest conversation, and a willingness to go beneath the surface, while honoring that you are the expert in your own life. No performing. No pretending. I’ll bring warmth, honesty, curiosity, and my own humanity into the room while creating a space where you can bring your whole self, too. I won’t simply sit back and listen. I’ll be present with you, share observations, ask hard questions, and offer a different perspective when it may be helpful. I believe you deserve a therapist who is engaged in the work with you, someone who can offer both compassion and challenge while maintaining the boundaries and safety that make therapy possible.
Therapy isn’t just about talking. We’ll work to understand what’s happening beneath the surface while also building practical tools you can use in your everyday life. The goal isn’t just insight; it’s learning how to carry that insight with you beyond the therapy room. Together we will create a space to slow down, soften, surrender what you’ve been holding so tightly, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have always been worthy of being seen.
We’ll make room for hard truths without losing sight of grace: compassion for where you are and honesty about where you want to grow. Grace allows us to hold these truths without shame or judgement. Therapy becomes a place where you can say the things you’re afraid to say, explore the parts of yourself you’ve learned to hide, and begin to understand your experiences with greater compassion.
For those who desire it, I also offer faith-based therapy that thoughtfully integrates Christian faith and spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process. Your faith doesn’t have to be separate from the work, it can be a meaningful source of hope, identity, wisdom, and healing. Whether faith is central to your life or simply something you’re curious about exploring, we can make space for it in a way that feels authentic to you.
I believe we can face hard truths without being defined by them. I won’t sugarcoat what needs attention, but I also won’t use shame as a tool for change. We’ll make room for the truth while holding it with compassion, for where you are, what you’ve been through, and where you want to grow. I believe growth requires honesty, but honesty doesn’t have to hurt. Together we will stay curious and work toward change while keeping compassion, dignity, and your worth at the center.
My hope is that you leave not only with greater insight, but with practical tools, a deeper sense of self-compassion, and a stronger connection to the life you want to live.
